Description
A scissor lift pallet truck is a good way of raising an open bottom pallet, to assist in loading, unloading and even with piece work on a production line. In certain applications, a load can be placed in a more idea working position, this can result in greater efficiency and less back related injuries.
The SLT-B has a dimensions across the forks wider than standard (680mm), making it a better choice for a wider pallets, giving you a more stable load.
The SLT design of scissor lift truck has a three stage pump. The main advantage of this, is that the apex frame at the back of the truck is lower, which allows greater access in many applications that require it.
Due to the scissor action on pallet truck, these units are only designed to be used with open bottomed pallets and stillages.
Note: Scissor lift trucks are not suitable if the load overhangs, or is off centre – as this may cause the unit to be out of balance.
